We have a wide variety of services we offer here at Explore Disc Golf. While the meat and potatoes of what we do are Disc Golf Course Design and Site Planning, we also offer several other services including: The Mobile Disc Golf Experience, Business Development Packages, Course Improvements, Merchandising, and the feature of this article — Disc Golf Equipment Rentals.

Explore Disc Golf — a full-service disc golf design-build firm — has a plethora of services, including Disc Golf Equipment Rentals.
Our disc golf equipment rentals have proven to be an extremely popular service since the very onset of the company’s release. Although similar in purpose, many that are familiar with The Mobile Disc Golf Experience may ask what the difference is between it and the equipment rental services we provide. The Mobile Disc Golf Experience is a traveling disc golf course — where we come design and install a 3-6 hole disc golf course that is equipped with hole and wayfinding signage, a vending tent and free disc rentals for the duration of an event. Equipment rentals, while similar in scope — to make disc golf accessible to the general public and those who may not know about — is a standalone service that includes us simply shipping discs and baskets out of our warehouse to the end client, for a period of time determined by their need.
Our disc golf basket equipment rentals have proven to be most popular in the ski resort industry thus far, as it allows the resort to see what the sport of disc golf is all about — it’s light environmental impact and high benefit to cost ratio in addition to the revenue it can create in the off-season for these winter Meccas of outdoor recreation. While many locations enjoy the small investment for 2-3 months of disc golf basket use, some prefer to contract The Mobile Disc Golf Experience to setup at a specific event to “test their market” and see if disc golf would be a successful venture. This is a terrific idea as it allows us to design, install and sign a course, in addition to providing a staff member that can hand out free disc rentals and give some insight on technique and beginner tips. As you can see in these two contrasting scenarios, it’s really entirely up to the end client.

We’re proud to offer disc and basket rentals to schools, ski resorts, campgrounds and anyone else that needs them for as long as they need them!
We also provide disc golf disc rentals to a wide variety of users. In the past year, we have sent out discs to elementary school, campgrounds, churches, corporate outings, family barbeques, University teams and many more — seeing discs leave our location here in Western Massachusetts and head out to Washington State, Utah, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Maine and several other locations throughout the Northeast. This service is another inexpensive way to offer disc golf at a weekend outing for a school at a local course, or a campground to rent out for more than a month. Either way you slice it, you are “trying it before you buy it” — be it the sport of disc golf in general or that specific disc that you have been thinking about buying, but didn’t want to pull the trigger on. Well, now is your chance to try out that Stringray in multiple weights, fall in love with it, and then buy a brand new one through Explore Disc Golf or your local disc golf outlet!
Disc golf is an incredibly fun and accessible recreational activity for all ages and skill levels, and Explore Disc Golf is doing everything we can to continually promote the sport. If you know of an event or location that would benefit from or is interest in disc golf, please contact us. Our disc golf equipment rentals are constantly being sent all over the country, and we’d love to keep that up. The response we have gotten from the customers that have used these services has been extremely positive thus far, and we look forward to making disc golf more accessible to the general public through our disc golf equipment rentals and wide array of services for a long time to come!
