Disc Golf Merchandising by Explore Disc Golf

At Explore Disc Golf, our mission is simple: to promote the sport of disc golf as much as possible. With two of our staff members having degrees in Landscape Architecture, it is rather obvious that our primary focus is on disc golf course design and site planning, but we do have other services we provide as well. Some of those services include the always popular Mobile Disc Golf Experience, a slew of basket and disc rentals that are constantly being sent out to ski resorts, camps and school systems, business development packages for course owners to help create a return on their investment and a plethora of in-house merchandising services.

We can print full color, custom banners in-house, as seen here at our Explore Disc Golf vending booth!

That’s correct — to help promote disc golf, we have a fully operational merchandising branch of our business that can screen print t-shirts and hoodies, embroider hats and towels, print business cards, flyers, full color banners and much more! While we use this service as a way to promote disc golf through conversational disc golf apparel and promotional materials such as flyers and banners, we also outfit several disc golf shops, courses and teams with apparel to help brand their stores or provide their teams with a professional appearance during tournaments and leagues.

As the seasons turn over into winter, it comes as no surprise that some of our latest projects have come in the form of Team Challenge shirts for disc golf courses in our surrounding towns. We recently completed long sleeve shirts for both Team Webster, of Webster Fish and Game Disc Golf in Webster, MA and Team Crane, of Crane Hill Disc Golf in Wilbraham, MA. Team Webster purchased 9.3 oz forest green, Gildan long sleeve shirts with a front and back print in bright orange. Team Crane went with 4.3 oz royal blue, long sleeve Champion dry fits with a white breast print. Both of these teams needed a quicker turn around than normal to get ready for the season, and Explore Disc Golf took care of it with no additional rush fees like normal print shops would tack on! We are happy to help promote the sport and get teams setup with a unified, professional presentation as they embark on their Team Challenge events.

We have also setup several disc golf companies with gear for re-sale. These companies were setup with a slew of apparel— ranging from embroidered hats to screen printed t-shirt and hoodies. No job is too small or too large, as several of our clients order 12 hats at a time while some of our other clients pick up 500 shirts per order. Our goal is simply to provide disc golf companies, players, tournament and leagues with high quality apparel with a personal touch. We have played this game for quite a while and have met so many fine folks along the way — and being able to help them out with competitively priced merchandise to help promote the sport and their brand is a wonderful feeling.

We have been working with Pure Flight Disc Golf and Ultimate in Amherst, MA for over a year now; setting them up with a wide range of goods that are for sale in their shop. We just started embroidering hats for Orbit Disc Golf in Turner, ME, which can be picked up on their online store or Facebook page. We also have the ability to set customers up with business cards, flyers and banners! We recently completed an order for 1,000 double sided, full color, glossy business cards for a customer, in addition to creating and printing a full color, 3’ x 8’ banner for our own company that is hung by our vending booth at festivals and events that have contracted The Mobile Disc Golf Experience.

We are currently in conversations with several nationally touring professionals as they look to expand their own apparel line and solidify their brand. As we look forward to taking on these new orders, it’s just as important to grow our trusting relationships with these customers through promoting their brand. If disc golf grows — we all grow! We love this sport so very much, as using our in-house merchandising services is a wonderful way to promote the sport (through whichever brand/player/tournament we print) and help keep things affordable for our fellow disc golfers. If you’re ever in need for screen printing or embroidery services, we can be contacted at info@explorediscgolf.com and will be happy to help in the process of getting you setup with competitively priced, high quality apparel with a personal touch!
