Highly trained within the fields of Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning, Explore Disc Golf is a full-service disc golf design-build firm with a focus on using the disc golf course as a framework to educate the public about the sport and the restorative benefits of nature. We aim to provide the resources necessary to ensure all scales of disc golf implementation are presented and completed in a professional manner. From large scale establishments with championship course design, planning and course improvements to temporary course installations and equipment rentals, Explore Disc Golf is simply interested making this healthy, environmentally-sound activity accessible as possible to the public. Consultations afford you the opportunity to pick our brains, while our installation division can take any project from the planning to playing stages in a matter of weeks. Disc golf and environmental education, art and lighting installations, tee and course signage, business development packages for investors and entrepreneurs, basket rentals and upgrades, as well as merchandising for players, companies and tournaments round out this one-stop disc golf experience.
Our disc golf course design services have few limitations, as we believe that disc golf installations can be enjoyed anywhere from Universities and park systems to campgrounds and backyard residences. We’re proud to offer designs that are completely customizable in scale, in addition to the ever-popular temporary courses that we create and install. Providing the framework and infrastructure for temporary courses, Explore Disc Golf is able to create a course on any parcel for any event. Site planning is available in conjunction with course design, or utilized as a standalone service. This service is necessary to make sure you comply with all zoning regulations and have the best possible strategy for your installation. We also offer consultation and installation services. Consultations give you the opportunity to get all the information you need in terms of business development, course design and more, while installation services takes the stress out of figuring out how you’re going to get the man power to turn the design into a playable course.
Disc golf signs are a service we are proud to offer in-house. We have the ability to create and manufacture a wide variety of signs, including hole signs, course maps, wayfinding signs, rules and safety signs, and more. For hole signs, our most popular signs are 9″ x 12″, but we also offer 12″ x 18″ which includes room for hole sponsors or course branding at the bottom. Our full color course maps measure 24″ x 36″, while our wayfinding signs come in 4″ x 8″ sizing. Signage has a lot to do with success of a course — from informing players on the shot at hand, or moving users from hole to hole. While signage creation comes with all Explore Disc Golf designs, we are more than happy to manufacture any disc golf signs for course installation. Please contact us for pricing.
Disc golf rentals are a service that we are extremely excited to offer to the disc golf community! Rentals come in the form of discs, baskets and The Mobile Disc Golf Experience. Are you looking to add a healthy, inexpensive recreational activity to heighten your festival’s fan experience? Do you operate a fair and want to offer a fun, leisurely activity for your patrons? Maybe you’ve heard about the sport of disc golf and want to try it for your physical education class at your elementary school or do a trial run to see if it boosts your summer sales at a ski resort? Well we’ve got you covered! We have the ability to design and install a course for you, including all basket and discs rentals to cover your exact needs through temporary courses or The Mobile Disc Golf Experience.
Our disc golf merchandising services are terrific if you’re a player looking to brand yourself, a company adding on apparel sales, or a tournament in need of fundraising supplies. We are proud to offer screen printing, embroidery and distribution services to disc golf players, companies and tournaments. Need a banner for your tournament or business cards at your store? We’ve got you covered! Are you a touring professional that doesn’t want to deal with the hassle of distribution and fulfillment? We can print your gear in house, sell it through our online store and provide fulfillment of all your orders through our distribution division. Our focus is to consolidate your merchandising experience and help make it as profitable as possible, so give us a try next time you’re in need of any screen printed or embroidered apparel.
The Mobile Disc Golf Experience is one of our most popular services, as we have the ability to create a safe, yet challenging 3-6 hole temporary disc golf course complete with signage and free disc rentals! The Mobile Disc Golf Experience is completely customizable in scale both in terms of number of holes, as well as technical challenge. Once contracted for an event, we simply meet with the client to figure out the land restrictions and we get to work designing, installing and signing the disc golf holes. We have created several beginner-friendly courses for children and adults alike, as well as creating technically demanding courses that were a test for more advanced players. Difficulty aside, our goal with The Mobile Disc Golf Experience is quite simple: to make the sport of disc golf as accessible as possible to the general public!
